Review Wharfedale Diamond 12.2 – Bright like a diamond?

The Test Setup

We tested the Wharfedale Diamond 12.2 on two amplifiers: the Denon PMA1700 and a Yamaha A-S2200. As a source, we put in a Bluesound Node 2i. This seems appropriate in this class. We listened in the workspace and measured in the listening room. We did not test in the listening room because this room is just too big. That doesn’t work with this class of speakers. We have to play too loud which pushes up the distortion. That’s not fair.
