The Métronome DSC – a streamer – is certified Roon Ready effective immediately, which means seamless cooperation with the popular music management software.
Roon is a popular music management and playback software package among the more serious audiophiles who like to stream. It is therefore practical for Roon users to use devices that are compatible with the system. A certification system was created for this purpose; if your intended device is Roon Ready, you don’t have to worry about anything else.
The Métronome DSC – a comprehensive music streamer and pre-amplifier in one – has now received this certification. In short: the device now integrates seamlessly into any Roon system.
Streamer, DAC and preamplifier
The Métronome DSC was released not long ago and offers streaming capabilities as well as a built-in DAC that can play both PCM and DSD up to DSD 512. A patented digital volume control also makes the DSC suitable as a preamplifier.
Apart from Roon compatibility, you can also directly play music files stored on e.g. a NAS in the (home) network via DLNA / UPnP. Furthermore, the machine does not shy away from the well-known music streaming services such as Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify and Deezer. If you want to listen to internet radio worldwide, then vTuner is ready as a web tuner.
